Line Dancing

New Wave Line Dancing

World Infused Line Dancing uses the sounds of Latin, Pop, Rock, Soul, Country and Ballroom in this new wave line dance class. It will keep you fit in body, mind and soul. Weight control, cardio, stamina, balance and memory are just a few of the other benefits. Choreographed Stepping, otherwise known as Line Dancing requires no partner or special clothes. All you need is a pair of shoes with smooth soles, a bottle of water and willingness to step your way into a better lifestyle and have FUN doing it!

 

Offered on a monthly basis!

When: Thursdays 7-8pm

Where: Downtown YMCA

Cost: $25 Y-Members and $30 Non-Members

Sign up for 3 months in advance and save $15

 

Ages: 13 and up

Flexibility Classes

Flexibility Classes located in Healthy Kids Center

Power Yoga: This class offers all the true principles of yoga with all of the benefits and is a true full-body workout!
Hatha Yoga: This class provides the same benefits as yoga. It improves strength and flexibility through movement, breathing and held poses.
Pure Stretch: This class is what you need! 30 minutes of pure relaxation and stretching for the total body.
Flexible Strength: A combination of Fit Ball, Yoga, and Pilates with emphasis on balance, strength, flexibility through movement and stretch.
Pilates Mix: Pilates is a form of exercise, developed by Joseph Pilates, which emphasizes the balanced development of the body through core strength, flexibility, and awareness in order to support efficient, graceful movement.

Cycle Studio Cardio

Cardio Classes located in Cycle Studio

Cycle: A class designed to challenge everyone from serious athletes to de-conditioned individuals. This class offers a cardio workout with
little impact on your joints. Class allows for individual control of intensity and resistance.
Cycle Challenge: A 75-minute ride that will build base miles to increase your endurance on the bike.
Cycle/ Core: Enjoy an efficient, heart pumping and waist trimming workout. 30 minutes on the bike finished with 15 minutes on the
Bosu lengthening your muscles and strengthening your core in Pilates focused routine.

Strength Training & Cardio Endurance

Located in the Gymnasium

Spartacus: This high intensity cardio workout may include step, floor, cycling and circuit stations indoors or outdoors.
Super Fit: A calorie blasting circuit workout that targets every major muscle group through the use of free weights, plyometrics, and bodyweight exercises with special emphasis on core strength.
Combo Cardio: Features a combination of different aerobic and strength components such as hi/lo, kickboxing, step and muscle and some tabata
Cardio Blast: Alternate between low, moderate, and high intensity strength, and cardio workout.
Muscle/Total Body Muscle: A full body sculpting class using step, weights, body bar and exercising tubing.
ZUMBA: Come try this spicy Latin-American movement class! It is the latest craze. Mamba, Cha-cha and a fat burning workout!
Zumba Gold: Designed for seniors, beginners or others needing modifications in their exercise. Zumba Gold: builds cardiovascular health by challenging the heart and working the muscles of the hips, legs and arms with dance moves.
Tabata Mix: Consist of 5 minutes of warm-up, 8 intervals of 20 seconds all-out intensity exercise followed by 10 seconds of rest and 2 minutes cool-down. Combining core and strength training.

Sole Train:  Focusing on improving your running skills, running drills indoor and outdoor
